The women’s ministry consists of all events, groups or studies that minister to women at Crossroads. These include Women’s Bible study, Christmas outreach events, as well as hospitality, aesthetics, and mentoring relationships to younger women.
Women’s Bible Study is under way for the spring semester. We are continuing our study of Romans with a study guide called Romans 8-16: In View Of God’s Mercy by Timothy Keller.
Our evening Bible study meets every other Thursday at 6:30 p.m. for dinner, 7:00 p.m. for study at the Kobus’ home – 351 Misty Vale Drive, Middletown, DE 19709. Check the Calendar of Events for dates. The Wednesday morning Bible study meets at 9:15 a.m. at Crossroads, beginning with breakfast. Childcare is provided for the Wednesday study.
For questions regarding the Wednesday morning study, contact Nancy Downey at firstname.lastname@example.org.
For questions regarding the Thursday evening study, contact Kendra Roberts at email@example.com.
Bible Study will be cancelled if the Appoquinimink School District has a delay or closure, so if the weather is bad, make sure to check.
Ministry Highlight: Encouragement
The Encouragement Ministry seeks to help women come alongside other women and support them in their walk with Christ. This may be with visits, phone calls, or notes sent to women in need. Nancy Downey has lots of encouragement cards and stamps that are ready to be used. Please contact her at firstname.lastname@example.org if you know of a woman or women in need of encouragement or if you’d like to help in this ministry.
