The women’s ministry consists of all events, groups or studies that minister to women at Crossroads. These include Women’s Bible study, Christmas outreach events, as well as hospitality, aesthetics, and mentoring relationships to younger women.
Since we are still in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have had to make some modifications to our plans for Bible Study this Fall. The Women’s Bible Study committee has been meeting & praying all summer to find a plan to help the women of Crossroads dive deep into God’s word and still find ways to fellowship while respecting the state guidelines.
The plan we have developed includes several different times to meet for our study of Praying with Paul by DA Carson. We will be offering zoom meetings on Tuesdays at 2:00 p.m., Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. and Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. Small groups in people’s homes called Zoom Hubs will also be available during these times for those who are interested in fellowship and in-person prayer partners. The study will start the first week of September and meet every other week until the first week of December.
For questions or to sign up for the time that works best for you & the way you want to connect to Bible Study please don’t hesitate to reach out to Jenn Seda at firstname.lastname@example.org, Kendra Roberts at email@example.com or Nancy Downey at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Ministry Highlight: Encouragement
The Encouragement Ministry seeks to help women come alongside other women and support them in their walk with Christ. This may be with visits, phone calls, or notes sent to women in need. Nancy Downey has lots of encouragement cards and stamps that are ready to be used. Please contact her at email@example.com if you know of a woman or women in need of encouragement or if you’d like to help in this ministry.
